Welcome to the home of all things Glover and Smith.
We have been designing and making our lead-free pewter products since 1994. Although our unique designs feature in many places across the internet (Etsy, Not-on-the-High-Street, and many retailers’ websites we have supplied since the dawn of the internet), it is ONLY here at www.gloverandsmith.co.uk that you can see our full range of products and purchase at the best possible price and the guaranteed best value when buying one or our items.
You’ll be able to see ALL our current designs in one place, and everything you see is available to order, with all product information valid and up to date.
You can send a gift DIRECTLY to a loved one with a FREE handwritten message (Use the comments box when ordering). Because our orders are post free you can make multiple orders to different recipients without paying postal fees. Gift wrapping is available for a small charge.
At www.gloverandsmith.co.uk, we offer the most options for ENGRAVING & PERSONALISATION of our designs. You can easily communicate with the people who design, make and dispatch our products, and we ensure the QUICKEST response and delivery times.
All your pewter orders are handmade and dispatched from our workshop in Wilton, near Salisbury. If you are local, our showroom is open Monday to Thursday 10am – 2pm, or by appointment.
Great care is taken to use the highest standards of craftsmanship combined with the highest quality pewter, and simple, low energy making techniques mean each piece has a very low carbon footprint. Lead-free pewter is an eco-friendly, non-tarnishing, recyclable metal, safe to use with food, allergen friendly and easy to care for.
You can always discover our latest designs available here FIRST. Sign up to our newsletter (bottom of homepage) or follow us on Facebook / Instagram for information on special offers, new products and all our latest news.

Inspired by nature
Nature is a huge inspiration and living in the beautiful area between the Wylye Valley and Cranborne Chase in Wiltshire has brought a treasure trove of ideas from the wonderful organic shapes of the natural world. For example, an oak leaf found on a walk in Grovely Wood has become our very popular oak leaf jar spoon from 'the woodland’ collection of tableware.
Approved Suppliers to The Woodland Trust, The National Trust, English Heritage, Prince Charles’ Estate, The World Wildlife Fund and many more Conservation aware organisations.
Glover and Smith now supply over 250 exclusive gift shops, galleries and collectors as well as buyers abroad. Recent commissions include a commemorative spoon for the prestigious Victoria and Albert museum in London, Canterbury Cathedral and Salisbury Cathedral. We have also received an award for "Excellence in Design" from the body which represents the huge UK gift industry – The Giftware Association.
Awards
At a recent Top Drawer Show, renowned environmentalists Oliver Heath & David Nicholls once again accredited us with the Product GB and Eco Certified Awards.
David Nicholls is the Design Editor of the Daily Telegraph. Product GB is an initiative set up to champion our national economy by showcasing products designed and produced locally using materials sourced from within the UK.
TV presenter and environmental champion Oliver Heath's accredited Eco-Trail highlights products that are recyclable, reusable, fair trade and sustainable. The Eco-Trail aims to stimulate the eco retail market by identifying eco friendly and ethical designers and makers, making it easy for buyers to be 'green' about their choice of product.
As of Summer 2020 Judi Glover has returned to painting full time. Her greetings cards, prints and canvas prints can be seen at www.judigloverart.com
