Lead-Free Pewter
All Glover and Smith designs are made from solid polished lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and are guaranteed nickel and allergen free. Our 95% tin Pewter is the fourth most expensive metal in common use after platinum, gold and silver. To clean (if ever needed) just wash with warm soapy water and occasionally use a silver cloth on the silver components. All our designs are made exclusively by us in Wiltshire, England.
