Each bookmark is hand cast from polished, solid lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and completely nickel-free. Because our designs are all created in solid metal, the surface of your cats and books bookmark will never flake like a silver plated bookmark. To clean if needed, simply wash with warm soapy water.
