All Glover and Smith tin anniversary gifts are made from solid polished lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and completely food safe. Because we use solid metal the surface of your Oak and Ginkgo Leaf salad servers will never flake like silver plated salad servers. To clean just wash with warm soapy water. All our designs are completely nickel-free and made exclusively by us in Wiltshire, England.
