All Glover and Smith designs are made from solid polished lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead content in old pewter). Because we use solid metal the surface of your personalised little acorns spoon will never flake like a silver plated Christening spoon. To clean just wash with warm soapy water. All our designs are completely nickel-free and made exclusively by us in Wiltshire, England.
