Lead-Free Pewter
All Glover and Smith designs are made from solid polished lead free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and completely food safe. Because we use solid metal the surface of your place settings will never flake like a silver plated ones. To clean just wash with warm soapy water. All our designs are completely nickel-free and made exclusively by us in Wiltshire, England.
