Our salad servers make an ideal wedding gift, or housewarming gift. The symbolism of the oak leaves make our salad servers a particular favourite as a 10th anniversary (tin) gift. (Our pewter is 95% tin). The oak leaf symbolises: hospitality, stability, strength, honour, liberty and eternity.

The total lengths of the salad servers are approx. 26 cm (10.2 inches) long and each oak leaf is 4.2 cm (1.7 inches) wide.

All Glover and Smith pewter gifts are made from solid polished lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and completely food safe. Because we use solid metal the surface of your oak leaf salad servers will never flake like silver plated ones. To clean just wash with warm soapy water. All our designs are completely nickel-free and made exclusively by us in Wiltshire, England.
