Each scarf ring is made from polished lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter). We use solid metal which means the surface of your sycamore key scarf ring will never flake like a silver plated scarf holder. Simply wash with warm soapy water to clean. All our designs are completely nickel-free and made exclusively by us in Wiltshire, England.
