The wren symbolises wisdom and divinity and because it is such an active little bird, it also represents vibrancy, activity, alertness and efficiency. She has always been considered a most sacred bird. Called: Drui-en or Druid Bird in Irish Gaelic and in Welsh the word Dryw means both druid and wren.

The wren little bird is 18mm (3/4 inch) across.

Pewter

All Glover and Smith designs are made from solid polished lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter) and are guaranteed nickel and allergen free. We use Sterling silver chain and jump rings for their strength. 
Because we use solid metal the surface of your Bird necklace will never flake like a silver plated necklace. To clean just wash with warm soapy water and occasionally use a silver cloth on the silver components. All our designs are made exclusively by us in Wiltshire, England.
