Personalised engraving
The plaque on the underside of the lid can be engraved with up to 33 characters or spaces across three lines, with a maximum of 11 per line. Engraving is included in the price.
Gift presentation and dimensions
The box comes in an organza pouch. Gift wrapping is available for £4.00; when selected, the box comes in a gift-wrapped black presentation box. To add gift wrapping or a gift message, add the garnet pewter box to your cart, then select the gift wrap option in your cart.
The box measures 50 mm (approximately 2 inches) in diameter and 25 mm (approximately 1 inch) high. Our makers' marks are on the underside of the box body.
Handmade lead-free pewter
Made from solid polished lead-free pewter. Our 95% tin Pewter is the fourth most expensive metal in common use after platinum, gold and silver. All Glover and Smith designs are made from solid polished lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead content in old pewter). Because we use solid metal the surface of your engraved, personalised garnet box will never flake like a silver plated one. To clean, just wash with warm soapy water. All our designs are completely nickel-free and made exclusively by us in Wiltshire, England.
