Lead-Free Pewter
All Glover and Smith designs are made from solid polished lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead content in old pewter). Our 95% tin Pewter is the fourth most expensive metal in common use after platinum, gold and silver. Because we use solid metal the surface of your heart keepsake box will never flake like a silver plated one. To clean just wash with warm soapy water. All our designs are completely nickel-free and made exclusively by us in Wiltshire, England.
